RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF SELF-FUNDING PATIENTS
Before the self-funding service commences, the self-funding patient must be familiar with the method of implementation, the probability of success, the expected outcome, possible risks and side effects (patients confirm their understanding by signing the statement Medical Informed Consent as explained), the price and method of payment of the self-funding service (patients confirm their understanding by signing the Declaration form).
A self-funding patient who was not satisfied with the services can complain to the responsible person for patient complaints in the GH Novo mesto (Zdenka Kralj E: zdenka.kralj@sb-nm.si) or to the Patient Ombudsman.
METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Please make sure to bring a valid ID.
A self-funding patient is obliged to pay the invoice issued in the specialist clinic as soon as the service has been performed. Self-funding services of specialist clinics are paid for in the clinic where the service has been provided.
A patient who opts for self-funding surgery receives a pro forma invoice for the intended procedure, which he/she must pay before the intended procedure.
The services performed at the General Hospital Novo mesto can be paid by bank transfer to the account of the General Hospital Novo mesto no.: IBAN SI56 0110 0603 0278 379 at Banka Slovenije, BIC BSLJSI2X
or by payment in cash at the hospital or by payment through the POS terminal with the following payment debit cards Visa debit, Visa VPay, Visa Electron debit, BA cards, Maestro or Mastercard debit or credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron credit, Mastercard or Karanta.
